ASSOCIATE DESIGNER  - FF&E Specialist

ROLE

This is a contract position with potential to develop into a full time position.

Assist design team on all phases of concurrent commercial design projects at variety of scales and budgets. Responsibilities to include sourcing materials, furnishings, lighting, and accessories, preparing digital presentations (InDesign and Sketch-Up) and architectural drawings (AutoCAD) for internal and client review, interfacing with vendors, order processing and monitoring, scheduling of and assisting with project installations, and serving in a general support capacity throughout each project with the management of client binders, files, budgets, and architectural drawings.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-4 years professional experience in commercial interior design (retail, hospitality, corporate) -Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Interior Design or Interior Architecture program with studio curriculum

  • Strong FF&E knowledge, familiarity with specifying commercial grade hard and soft finishes

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Autodesk

  • Strong attention to detail regarding design, communication and project execution

  • Ability to adhere to schedules and deadlines on multiple concurrent projects while producing high quality, accurate work

  • Experience in Interior design procurement and purchasing a plus!
